Buttercream Melting?

Use hi-ratio shortening for half the butter. Hi-ratio shortening is better than regular shortening because it blends better and has a less greasy taste and feel (do not use Crisco).

Whichever shortening you choose, only use 2/3 cup for every 1 cup butter you swap.
