A dehydrator isn’t really faster; it’s just to help crust the frosting on the cookies.

With the fan you can work on the next decoration layer in 15-20 minutes.

Try putting cookies in oven at 170 degrees F for 20-30 minutes.

Put dehydrator on lowest temperature.

Dehydrator results include
less color bleed.

Leave the cookies in dehydrator in increments of 6-10 minutes.

Put cookies in front of a small fan and dehumidifier for several hours, which cuts down on decorating time.

Consider buying a dehydrator with an attached, not removable, door.
